1. DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER
Engineering candidate required for
this senior position within the Oil & Gas Industry. Strong experience,
particularly in people and sales management.
- Job summary
Assist and support the Executive Director by providing executive
level management oversight and strategic direction to the assigned
companies divisions. Analyze and revise existing sales procedures
to increase sales and profits; assist in the development and growth
of the companies short- and long-range plans; assist in the preparation
of the overall financial plan and budget; and respond to and resolve
client inquiries and complaints.
- Duties in brief
1. Establish: Systems and procedures in all areas under your control
to maintain and comply with all company and legal requirements.
These procedures must be regularly monitored and updated in order
to achieve service excellence and best practice as set out in the
company objectives.
2. Manage: The divisions under your control to achieve agreed customer
satisfaction targets in all areas in line with company objectives.
To ensure that appropriate action is taken to review procedures
and operational standards. To acknowledge and respond to all customers
concerns.
3. Ensure: Departments under your control operate at maximum efficiency
to deliver the required level of sales and service in all areas.
4. Motivate: All staff under your direct control to achieve best
practice and the required standards of service, in line with current
employment legislation.
5. Chemical Investment Plan: Analyze, review & present feasibility
studies for local manufacturing facilities of barite, bentonite,
& Xantham Gum.
6. Mechanical Expansion Plan: Analyze, review, & present feasibility
studies for a workshop/machine-shop dedicated to drilling equipment,
as well as, a drilling related equipment rentals and fishing tools
facility, in addition to aggressively pursuing the sales of LeTourneau
Drilling Equipment, Lewco and OEMS products.
7. Electrical Growth: Analyze, review, & present a plan to increase
and expand our existing market share.
8. Monthly Reports: Prepare and submit monthly reports pertaining
to the activities of sales, services, & operations of the company
highlighting the achievements & progress of each group, in comparison
to their respective business goals.
9. Streamline: Assess, oversee, and optimize the collection time
frames & procedures. Present results on a weekly basis.
10. Communicate: Effectively with all internal and external organizations
to promote the company as a professional organization. Also, rresponsible
for maintaining effective and constructive communication within
support departments, consisting of Government Relations, Administration,
Human Resource, Accounting, & Legal.
11. Recruitment: In conjunction with the Executive Director, the
professional and appropriate recruitment of sales & marketing
professionals in line with agreed business goals.
12. Alterations: To existing setups and procedures to improve performance,
but only after discussing and getting approval of the Executive
Director.
13. Assignments: Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Executive
Director.
14. Clarify: Goals for all staff under your supervision.
15. Assist: Executive Director in the day to day running of the
company in accordance with agreed goals.
16. Update & Report: The Executive Director on a regular basis.
